​Jennifer Oberhammer is a Toronto based artist with a focus on painting and drawing.

Born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba, Jennifer always found herself drawn to the expressive potential of the arts and sought ways to express herself through various mediums.  

After attending the University of Manitoba Fine Arts program and spending time in Vancouver, she settled in Toronto where she took on many new roles:  she married, had two beautiful boys and developed a successful career in the financial services industry.  

As time went on her passion for art and the desire to create never abated, and through the changes that life sometimes throws our way, found herself with the opportunity to dedicate herself to the role of full time artist.

Whether through her exploration of colour and the daring possibilities of abstract experimentation or through the detail, discipline and focus of realistic portraiture, Jennifer is an artist seeking new ways to explore life and creativity, capturing the essence of moments through her art.
